Partnering With Schools

At Community Financial we believe that educating our youth on financial topics determines the success of our future. We are proud to support every level of education throughout northern and southeast Michigan. From scholarships, to financial education presentations and student-run credit unions, we work to teach students the importance of good money habits and provide them with information that will last throughout their lifetime.

In 2016, our team continued running our award winning Student-Run Credit Union program in 48 local schools and provided hundreds of hours of classroom presentations to help impact the lives of over 24,000 students.

Community Financial was also proud to award 20 - $1,000 scholarships to students who embodied the “People Helping People” philosophy we live by.
